Making an intro

Today in class I started watching / making a intro clip in after effects I've had quite a few hiccups
as this program is a lot harder to use than I thought the tutorial that I am following HERE.
I have slowly been learning the basics, and am going to continue to progress and learn more today was more for just getting used to the program than making the intro but by tomorrow i should have my first intro in after effects done.
